I never met Berman before, but she is rude and condescending on emails. She makes me feel as if I am not worth her time while emailing her. Received a 0 on one of my project because she said that we must correct it to get full credit. I rather take some credit rather than put a big 0 on our grade as if we don't know anything. Very strange methods.

Wouldn't recommend taking her even if it is online. She is a bit rude on her emails. She made us purchase a textbook that cost so much, and it was not worth using it. It isn't even an actual textbook either. Just some passages that look like notes. I also got double charged by the book she made us purchase. Not worth taking going thru the stress.

AMAZING professor, interesting lectures, good at explaining info and being available if you need extra help. Clear and specific study guides. Minimal homework just online quizzes that are easy

Tracy was often in a bad mood and jumping down students' throats. Do not walk in late to class or you will regret it. Her lectures seemed to go on forever, and it was mostly just her reading off of slides. She is very particular about how you turn stuff in, so pay attention. Other than her temper, she was OK. Not very approachable.

She's a chilled professor. Easy to talk to and her lectures are fun. Assignments aren't to hard if you paid attention in class. Exams are online, except for finals.

The syllabus is clear about where you get your points. Pretty much just show up to class and take notes, make sure you get quizzes and online exams done on time, and spend some time doing your food evals and you should be golden. She's pretty cool, and makes the material interesting. I never bought the textbook.

How could you not enjoy this class? She knows her subject, has longer office hours than the average and answers questions when asked. Some of the tests were hard which re-enforced you do need to study for tests. Super approachable.

I loved having her as my teacher. She knew what she was talking about and does a great way of making it sound simple to her students. I looked forward to her class and I've never thought I'd say that. She's awesome!

Love Professor Tracy and her lectures. Exam and quiz are online but final exam is in class. Exam are not hard but you need to study. Class consist of some writings but its easy. Would love to take any class with her if I can.

She's VERY helpful. VERY upbeat even for an 8am class. She's worth taking even if it is 8am. She doesn't put up with excuses and is very clear what she expects from you. She expects us to be mature adults and get our work in on time, but she's a mom and very understanding to emergencies and extreme circumstances. Totally worth it!!

This class runs a good pace! All quizzes and exams are online except for the final. You have an ongoing project that last all semester (its really easy). Ive never touched the book. Her class is enjoyable. She is always prepared for class and she has a positive attitude and easy to talk to!

Tracy is a Kickass teacher! She is down to earth, funny and makes lectures interesting. You do a 3 part diet project(not very hard, but eye opening). 3 exams and online discussions. It's a lot of information and you do need to study but it's totally do-able. I completely recommend her!

She is a teacher who actually cares about what she teaches! Very passionate! She makes you want to be healthy and to try to change others opinions about being healthy! Excellent Class, very Enjoyable. She is definately one of the Hottest professors.

I took the basic nutrition class of FALL 09. It was my favorite class out of all of them. Tracy is very nice and I could tell she really wanted her students to pass. As long as you go to class, follow along with the the powerpoint and study you will do well. It helps to go talk to her if you are havign troubles. I would choose her as a teacher

Super nice teacher. Really wants her students to succeed. I enjoyed her lectures and thought the tests and quizzes were easy because its all from the lecture notes, which she puts on vista. Take Her!

Berman is really nice, very opinionated. She knows her field well, but i was in her basic nutrition class and she specializes in sports nutrition. Her class made me want to switch my major to nutrition. Class has lots of lecture, take good notes, it'll benefit you for the tests.

Tracy is easy going (most of the time), knows her material well, is sometimes confusing in class, and is not a hard grader at all. She is definitely one of the hottest profs at Chico State, no matter what!
