Run for your life with your pants on fire! Incredibly time consuming test are 99.8% impossible get the current book she does not accommodate older books for any reason. Spilger has a bad attitude and smart mouth. You can study forever and still not pass If you're not taking anything else take this class you may have a passing chance

Took her online and although I missed 5 homework assignments, I still made a 'C'. Could have made a 'B' otherwise. She gives at LEAST half a week between each homework assignment which is more than enough time. If you don't have reading comprehension problems and can write like an adult, you should have NO problems passing this class.

Not bad if this is the only class you are taking. Her workload is unrealistic as is she. Fortunately the class was optional and I dropped after she advised that I drop one of my other classes (not hers). HW is all essay (avg 10 questions, 5 sentences min response due every week) and only two exams. Would STRONGLY advise taking someone else.

Homework EVERY night; online and due in class - mandatory attendance. Only Midterm, Final, and one 3 page paper. Extra credit opportunities. Teaches well. 1st half of the semester was interesting, the 2nd half was boring because of the material. Do the all the homework and you will atleast make a C.

Study the book and do ALL of the homework. It's a lot of work, but if you do the homework it helps not only for the grade, but makes study for the exams easy. Only Mid term and Final, and you have to take them in person even for online class.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER! LOTS OF HOMERWORK WITHOUT ENOUGH TIME TO COMPLETE, SO I ENDED UP DOING IN A HURRY AND NOT RETAINING ANYHTING! IF YOU NEED TO TAKE HER MAKE SURE YOU ONLY TAKE HER CLASS! ONLY MIDTERM AND FINAL, SO IF YOU DON'T DO WELL IN ONE OF THEM, FORGET IT! AND IF YOU TRY TO TALK TO HER SHE WILL ADVISE YOU TO DROP!!!

I took two classes with Dr. Spilger and these are the ones where I have really learned the content. the exams have multiple choice and essay questions where you really have to know the material in order to elaborate on the answers. I like her way of teaching very much as you really learn. If you answer the homework question you are already studying

do not take this class online,take it in person and attend every class. she's gives A LOT of work, be prepared to study only for her class during your semester. two exams, midterm was all essay 12 questions, and do every home work assignment it counts a lot for your final grade, DO NOT MISS HOMEWORK!!!! you do learn a lot.

I never had a professor who gave so much homework before! It will be very difficult to take this class w/ other courses. You spend all your time answering essay questions. Only two exams in the course, which is difficult for this subject matter, because it is soo much info crammed into so few exams. I learned a lot, but be prepared to do major work

Alot of busy work. The Midtermis not fun. Half is t/f and mutliple choice. The other half essay....My hand hurt when it was all done. For an all on-line class she makes you go upt o the school to take the test....and she is there watching you!!

Online course she assigns loads of work, but I actually learned and retained the information. She's challenging and I truly will take her again. I am the type where if I have a few assignments, I will miss some, but if I have busy work, I will never miss one because I'm constantly checking in.

this lady makes the class so painful to take that you end up hating the subject for the amount of busy work she gives you. her class took so much of my time due to the extensive assignments that discouraged me from being interested in the class anymore. My best advice, don't take her. thanks for dropping my GPA!
