Comment:

Dr. Kalter was an amazing professor and she will definitely seem intimidating, but she will lighten up by the middle of the semester (especially when people start to drop). Her class is hard if you don't study. Take notes, read over slides and use the textbook! You need to put effort into this class, or you will not pass what so ever.

Comment:

Dr. Kalter is definitely an experience as a freshman student. She's extremely knowledgeable on anatomy and can seem intimidating at times, but she really cares for her students. As long as you do your part in studying you'll have no trouble in passing her class.

Comment:

The class is very work heavy, but it is manageable if the work is put in. Attendance is mandatory. She is available outside of class if needed and is helpful if you have questions. She can be intimidating but she only wants everyone to do well. I am glad that I was able to take this class.

This is the hardest class I have ever taken. It got so hard that I had to withdraw and I did all the extra work you could have possibly done- I even went to her 7 times each time she told me I had test anxiety... not helpful. Take this course somewhere else. You will devote all your time to this class because it is super hard.

Dr. Kalter is a rough adjustment from high school to college, but her class is there to weed out people who won't make it in nursing school. There are a ton of resources to do well in this class ex: website, tutors, SI, open lab. So if you want to pass you need to be determined. She's very knowledgeable in anatomy, don't be intimidated by her!

She provides a lot of external resources for her class. DEFINITELY go to S.I. Her lectures are essentially just a summary of the textbook with no real clarification. Very difficult tests, and a lot of seemingly useless memorization. She does care about you, but she also takes pride in forcing students to drop her class due to difficulty.

I found Dr. Kalter to be very knowledgeable. Her class is tough, especially for freshman who are still used to highschool workloads. I failed the first couple of tests but after I took the initiative, I managed to pass the course. Though Kalter seems pretty intimidating, she's actually really nice. My advice is to study hard, and go to open labs.

Kalter is tough. I spent hours and hours studying for her tests and only did decent. She def wasn't my favorite professor. She is never willing to help students. My best advice is to start studying from day one and study a little every night and u should so ok.

This class was very difficult,if you study a lot, attend all classes,pay attention,& make it a high priority you will do fine. She is very organized& her tests are challenging but she does give study guides which are very helpful. At 1st I didnt know how to feel about her but I grew to really like and respect her. If you do well she will love you!

Anatomy I is not an easy class, but if you spend a lot of time studying it is manageable. Go to all the SI sessions and open labs you can, because these count as extra credit. Dr. Kalter may seem intimidating at first, but she is actually a very nice later. I respect her very much because she is very interested in what she teaches.

Dr. Kalter is very knowledgeable on the subjects she teaches. She is an intimidating woman, but is very nice once you pass through that barrier. Her course is very hard, which is to be expected. Dr. Kalter is one of the best teachers at Wilkes. She is very passionate about what she does and she is there to help you! Don't be afraid to approach her. You need to study really hard for her classes, but it's college level material, so you should expect it.

The Class was not easy...i studied a lot for the test but still didn't do what i expected. The practicals are rather difficult also. My biggest problem was the grudges she holds on people. If she doesn't like you she will make it difficult for you. She deff picks favorites and she is very rude to students sometimes

Dr.Kalter was a great professor.I was scared going to her class the first day but its not bad at all.It was probably my favorite class.She's very knowledgeable about the course and is willing to help.If you do your work and study its not hard to get a 3.5 or better.She can seem intimidating but she is very nice and helpful.She wants you to do well.
