Great teacher! He never takes attendance, but it is important to come to class as he explains how to do the problems thoroughly in class. Lots of homework, lowest exam dropped out of 4, very helpful professor. Funny sense of humor too. He was always joking about his martial arts skills if you made a mistake.

Fabulous teacher, I took the same class spring semester and had to take a “W’ because I was lost and getting an “F”. Thanks to the way he teaches, my current grade is a “B”. If you are having difficulties with algebra, definitely take this class!!

Don't have to buy a textbook. his assignment's are online which have an etextbook version of it. He tend to repeat on how he teaches. He's so unorganized. But he is an easy grader. If you done algebra before, you will do fine.

Like many have said, he is a very helpful teacher. He may come off rude and sarcastic but that is his humor. At first I thought that was how he was. He actually takes the time to help individuals trying hard but always jokes around. He sends you the notes, he goes over step by step. The class is not easy but he is definitely a good instructor!

He is a great teacher guys.. He helps you when you need it. Drops your lowest exam score, gives you online hw, and gives you enough time to get it done. He cares about ALL OF HIS STUDENTS. Just show up to class & pay attention so he could remember you and respect you for coming - unlike most of his students who take him for granted.

Pinto is probably the most caring teacher I have ever had. He honestly goes an extra 2 miles to make sure ALL his students understand the material and are passing.He is really smart but gets stressed out real easy. He is a bit unorganized at first but he will def help you if you need help passing. I wish I could take him next semester!!! Take him!!

Very nice at the begining of semester but one thereview ended and it was time for him to actually teach things quickly change. Rude, unclear, unorganized and gets an attitude when asked to explain something. Direct quote "I do not live for my students. I come I teach, I give tests I grade them when you ask for more it becomes a problem"

He made statistics soooo easy! I love this guy, besides being funny he is really helpful. He will try his hardest to help you and make it slower pace. I missed about 5 days of class and left early other days. I got an A.

If you already know how to do stats, then you will be ok. But dont take it with this guy if its your first time seeing stats. He is extremely unorganized, gets mad at the students if they dont pick up the material real fast. He has a thick accent and talks too fast. If you take his class good luck teaching yourself.

Really nice teacher. Will move at classes learning pace and makes sure you understand concepts before you move on. He doesn't use text much, doesn't drop tests, but if you do the work you will get an A. Very good about being available for help. Great guy!

Mr.Pinto is a great teacher, didn't need to buy the book, sometimes he speaks a little fast but when you ask hime to slow down he will, gives out tests a week before so you can study and ask questions..he is very knowledgable and dosen't like it when you leave early..would take him again

A little all over the place..but helpful...did not use the book...tests not that bad gives practice test a week before quiz/test...doesn't take roll, except for 1st day....drops 1 quiz...no extra credit...didn't use textbook....ask questions if you need help....is firm, but works with you...wants you to understand math

Didn't use the textbook once. Save your $$. Homework is done online. He is ALL over the place, but if you ask for clarification, he will explain further. Is chaotic a lot of the times, but it can be entertaining. You take 4 tests and drop the lowest one, and then take a final. You don't EVER leave early though...

decent teacher who incorporates homework into tests and finals. he is frantic sometimes and talks exceedingly fast. at times he is wrong, and will take a moment to realize his mistake. class is easy as long as you do homework. attendance is 5% of your grade. sample tests are emailed prior to the actual exams btw which are basically the exams.

Mr. Pinto is a good guy and a good teacher. He goes fast but is always willing to go back and explain. There are a lot of bad math teachers out there, but he is not one of them.
