Reedy is a really nice guy and always willing to help if you go see him during office hours.His class isn't easy but he really wants you to understand the material and not just memorize it. He gives you the test questions one class period before the test and if you put in the work you should do well. Attendance is mandatory. I would take him again.

Great teacher. lots of reading though so only take if your other subjects don't involve quite so much. speak in class, he is BIG on participation, and to speak you need to read. he gives you exam questions before the exam, do them all and study them you'll get a good grade. be prepared to give up your weekends round test time. only 3 tests though.

Do not take him if you do not know how to read or refuse to do so. Otherwise I think he is a great professor! He's got a passion for European history and can apparently speak several languages. He gives you the exam questions before the test so as long as you are prepared you will do fine. Also try to ask a question in class every once in a while.

Tons of reading! definitely mandatory assignments, if you don't read no way you will pass the class. Knows what he is talking about but is a harsh grader. If you want an A, you need to work really hard. First day, he will tell you while handing out the syllabus he loves giving out C's. So, if your worried about your GPA stay away!

Interesting guy. He is incredibly smart and knows what he is talking about. Love the fact that he gives the questions before the tests but hate how hard of a grader he is. Emphasizes reading but most don't, I did better on the exam when I didn't read as much. Would take again but approach with caution.

Took this guy a couple times. I like that he lectures about the material, ask him what you don't understand from the text and he'll elaborate. Test questions given in advance so there are no surprises. Yes it's a lot of reading, but its history and all the professors assign about the same amount so its not that bad in perspective.

MONOTONE. This guy has the most boring class. He asks ridiculous questions on tests which are a huge pain. All you do is take notes every day in class then you're supposed to read for every class...which I didn't do. Ended up with a B- because I failed the 1st test, got a B+ on the 2nd, and an A on the final. Participating is somewhar important.

this guy sucks. hard test grader, participation is big but you don't get a chance cause he lectures all class. when you try to participate he makes u look like an ass. he makes history jokes constantly that nobody except the two ass kissers get. don't take if you're looking for an A or B...it won't happen
