Professor Sondey is one of the best teachers. He is very chill and quite entertaining even if he rambles. He is very willing to help you. His grading is fair. He is also flexible with due dates and ends class early sometimes. I definitely recommend him.

Nice guy, helpful, and easy compared to other 39B teachers. Didn't read the book, he fail behind on quizzes and just cancelled them, 1 annotated bibliography, 2 group projects, and 3 papers that he helps a lot with. Really helpful at office hours, and an easy grader, I did my first 2 papers at the last minute (B-, A-) Take him!

His a really great teacher! I picked this class blind like not checking rate my professor, and he was great. He grades a tad bit had on essays but this class is really do able. Go to his office hours. He remembered my name in a day, crazy! I got a B in the class.

He is very helpful and is very entertaining. I would definitely take another class with Sondey if I was given the chance. He does make you work for your grade but if you are willing to put in a bit of your effort you will do extremely well in his class! :) GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS! he's very helpful!

he's not bad. mini reading quizzes(he lets u know what to expect). one group project essay,RAP & RIP. he is totally willing to help you in anything. he is not intimating at all. the one thing that was annoying was that he was really disorganized. if you work hard and don't leave the assignments for the last minute im sure ull get atleast a B.

I had Walter 2 quarters ago and from what I remember... He was a great professor. I got an A- in his class, but I worked hard for it. He is nice and is really eager to help his students. There are a lot of group projects. When you write your essays, get to the point, but back up your arguments.

I hate writing, but I absolutely ENJOYED this class! Professor Sondey from the very first class draws in the classroom into what may seem like a dull subject (ours being the American Dream) and really makes it interesting! We had one presentation, 3 essays (one in a group), and the final project was fun. Props to Professor Sondey!

save your money, dont need the book, unless you need it for Wri39C. Nice guy, fun class. Easy. Gives chances to score extra credit and redo essays and stuff. I really enjoyed Walter's class. He makes you think rhetorically about everything. He's always open to new ideas and opinions. He offers a ton of extra credit, tells you what is on the quizzes and when it is. It's pretty easy to get full credit on them. You don't really write a lot of essays, but when you do.... He lets you revise your essays

One of the best teachers iv ever had. Makes assignments clear and easy, really helps you get started. He tells a lot of stories about his traveling experiences; those are entertaining.
