Not as good as other professors in the education department. Does not care about her students and is not nice to you if you do anything that she does not approve of. I never laughed or smiled once in that class. You will definitely need a drink or a ton of advil after her classes :(

Unfortunately special education students can't avoid her, she is TERRIBLE. She is not fun, caring, or helpful. She thinks she knows everything and her students know nothing. She accuses students of things that they did not do, and she is nasty to you once she thinks you may have done something wrong, or if you did not show to a class.

Dr. Harriott is not very personable grades as if she is an english professor really tears apart your projects. She knows her stuff but does not do alot of teaching and is really unclear as far as tests go. If she likes you,you get an A, if not be prepared to get a C

Dr. Harriott is def. one of the best teachers at Monmouth. She may seem as though she is tough, but if you do what she wants you will do well. She really knows what she is talking about so you will learn alot. Def. take her, you will come away being prepared to be a teacher.

Harriott was an excellent teacher. At first, I hated her because she comes off like she hates you, but she's just kind of snotty by nature. Definetly picks favorites. Not very personable, but regarding instruction, she was the best teacher I ever had.
