Pat Day is one of my favorite people in general, he's awesome, and super, super smart. I learned more than I thought I ever could about movies in 290, and have really discovered a passion I have for thinking about them. He gives great feedback that's really helpful for papers and learning in general. One of my favorite profs!

I had a lot of classes with Prof. Day and was never disappointed. Funny, approachable, modest when he deserves to be arrogant, interesting lectures and knows his field extremely well. I wish I could watch his classes on TV. He is one of the best, hands down.

wow, what an awesome guy. just listening to him talk is mesmerizing - he could be making it all up, but it's interesting stuff. is he brilliant, or is he faking it? does it matter? his instructions on how he wanted us to write opened up a whole new way of thinking for me. and watching silence of the lambs, the godfather etc. FOR CLASS? bring it on.

omg he is SO funny. and SO brilliant. i love just listening to him speak. he is very into discussions, tries to give it some kind of structure but also really cares about everything students say.
