Comment:

I had Mr. Homann last spring for Math 110 and the things I learned in his class has proven to be invaluable in my current math classes. Yes, his hands do shake while he's teaching but that's because of an illness, and that shouldn't be taken against him. Other than, he is good teacher for those who are willing to put their own work in.

HORRIBLE! He does not explain anything, he assings homework and then makes you turn it in before you are allowed to ask any questions about the homework. I am basically teaching myself out of the book! Plus, not to be mean, but he shakes so much he can barely write!

He's a great teacher if you DON'T want him to teach you anything. which is the whole point in being a professor. He stands in front of the board so you can't see what he is doing. Than when he moves out of the way he notices he made a mistake or a student points it out. math 170 is definitely a hard class. especially when you have to teach yourself

He is a horrible teacher. He covers the board when he teaches, so you can never write down anything as he is explaining it. Plus he gets a lot wrong and people always have to correct him. This class was not worth getting up early for and I had to teach myself everything! I had to drop the class because I couldn't teach myself.

the only way you CAN pass this class is if you dont mind/are able to teach yourself. I just go to class for the attendance and end up teaching myself out of the book. even if i tried hard to follow his jumbled up way of teaching, i wouldnt be able to succeed. he fails to mention important parts in order to understand what you're even doing

His horrible, does not know how to teach he expects you to learn on your own does problems on the board with wrongs answers does not correct them tells you there not going to be on the test. constantly reminds class mates there not going to pass the course is best to drop the class.

Don't take this class. This teacher doesn't know how to teach and doesn't care at all about the students. He does all the work in his head(usually wrong too). He doesn't explain anything. I had to drop this class because it was like teaching yourself. Horrrrrrible teaching!

I was scared to take stats since I haven't taken a stats class since High School. I thought allowing us to have one 3x5 card with whatever we wanted on it for tests was a great idea. The professor went over anything we asked and did as many problems as we wanted reviewed. I also learned how to use a calculator better. Good class.

This teacher rocks. I dreaded this class and had to take it in the summer and passed. Pay attention, take notes(their allowed on all quizzes), and don't miss class, and if you have a question just ask, he is more than happy to help you understand. I suck in math, believe me, and I managed. It's all a concept, so just grasp it!

OMG!this guy talks like he has a mouth full of food!you can't understand a word he says,not that it matters because he doesn't teach anything relevant to the class.It's math for general ed. but he teaches like its logics.He goes home and makes up word problems that are impossible to get a correct answer,and then expects everyone to figure them out.

This old fart needs to retire. He makes careless mistakes on the board when solving problems and the students have to tell him what he'd done wrong. You can use a notecard for quizzes but it's really no help. Look elsewhere if you want a clean transcript.
