i had 3 tpt teachers in my first 3 yrs at ASU, and jones is best by far. he understands that ppl learn differently, and tailors lessons to fit diff. styles of learning. he is into experimenting with diff techniques and equip, so always evolving as a teacher. does NOT show favoritism. it only seems that way to slackers.

If your progress as a trumpet player doesn't matter to you, then he is your guy!! If you want to play lip bends all day, he is your guy!! I got lucky and he gave me to a real trumpet teacher!!!
