Very, very anal about little details, and he assigns a lot of homework. BUT, he knows his****, he's generally nice, and his analness is actually often very helpful, since he's usually very well organized and explains things very clearly. You don't have to worry about him not explaining something well.

Simply put, one of the best teachers that has ever set foot on any IU campus!!!!!! This guy earned degrees from Stanford and other top-notch, elite universities-how can you not respect and take the time to listen to his teachings???

He tried and failed (IMO) to be funny and interesting. He consistantly wrote on my papers that I wasn't elaborating enough when he never specified such. I often found his lectures useless as he said almost verbatim what was on his notes(with alot of typos and errors.) I was always tired in his class

This class was great. I felt like I was actually learning new stuff (and I was). Professor Knight is very methodical at teaching and makes sure that the material you learn is presented in an understandable way and that the material builds on itself.

A prime example of an instructor with no practical experience in the field. Incompetent to the real world application of the concepts and very unhelpful. He is more busy with singing out his less on than helping you understand it. Avoid his classes.
