He should seriously consider retiring. He's about 80 years old and it definitely shows. Do us all a favor and leave the teaching world. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. Tests are written by him, with the wording of this problems often being a jumbled mess. Is constantly being corrected by students during class.

William Lee is the WORST teacher I have ever had in my life. It's a disgrace that the university allows him to teach at his age. His lectures are pointless, so be ready to teach yourself EVERYTHING. He goes off on angry tangents, getting overly upset about little things & makes many girls in his class uncomfortable w/ inappropriate comments.

Out of all the math teachers he is the WORST. I always have to correct him because he will make so many mistakes when he tries to teach. He loves to give out very HARD exams where half the class will not have enough time to finish. Class is faster than the other calc classes (CALC 2). Homework daily, expect 5 pages off work that he never taught.

Does not understand how to teach a math class. Explains concepts in the most confusing ways possible then typically does not apply the concept to examples. He does on average one example per 2-3 class periods. Assigns large daily homework that seemingly have nothing to do with his lectures so be prepared to teach yourself everything. Avoid him!

I liked Mr. Lee a lot because I am someone who learns from real world examples. He goes out on a lot of tangents, bringing in a lot of stories from his past to help explain his lessons. I thought he has been a great teacher so far. This is the first math class I've taken in college though and were only a couple months in.

Literally the worst prof I've ever had. He's genuinely rude and makes it impossible to do well in his class. He's all about teaching you a lesson with his old wisdom. He's very condescending and If you care about your GPA, DONT take his class. Quiz almost every day and you'll never get above a C on them. He also doesn't give you grades until end.

Worst teacher at Minnesota State. I had him for Linear Algebra, and he literally said multiple times over the course of the year that he doesn't understand linear algebra. He started going by the book, then decided half way thru the year to do it himself. He wrote his own homework so you never knew if you did it right. Tests were poorly written.

He is a nice guy, but very tough. He does not cover most of the materials rather let you figure it out by yourself . My advice if you are the kind of person who counts on the teacher to understand, do not take a class with him. you will suffer a lot from the lack of knowledge that you will have.

Class Content was ok,would probably have finished and gotten a good grade if it were online or a different teacher. This guy is hot tempered, confusing, talks about class sitting order, cats and feet most of his classes, condescending, and all round a useless instructor.Don't waste your time with this guy, take a different class or instructor.Goodluck!

Aggressive test grader leaving no room for error period. Condones author's demonstration of theory and technique, as being excessive, and provides his own in the form of analogies, often using his body parts. Aside from being a living contradiction he loses his temper subtly in lecture to assert his odd little way of life. I would not recommend.

Bill Lee is a great professor. He can be a little unorganized, but he explains the concepts in a way that make them easy to remember. He curves every test and it should be easy to get an A. Those that complain about him are likely those that don't show up to class or study. Put forth the minimum amount of effort and you will do well in his class.

Words things strangely. Hard to learn anything from as he makes frequent mistakes that get confusing. Is not good at answering in-class questions. He gives a lot of points back on exams.

Content is challenging but if you do the homework and go to class you can pass. He has "random" homework quizzes (sometimes they actually are but usually he gives a heads up). Tests are curved at least 6 points generally. Nice guy but not the best teacher. A little hard to follow at times.

He's a very good teacher that knows how important concepts are to students, not the mechanics. I was too concerned with getting all the calculations before, so his approach shocked me at first. But after a while, I got to like it even better than solving problems. Attend every class, listen to his explanations, and you get yourself an easy A.
