This class is beyond boring. He uses WebCT and puts up reviews which are very helpful for exams. He give many many quizzes throughout the semester but they are not difficult. He is not a bad professor but is very boring and takes the subject very seriously. If your up for a challenge take the class with this professor.

He is a great teacher. All you need to do is take notes, everything he says sticks, so on the test you'll remember. He knows the subject well and the tests aren't hard at all. I did well in the class, and in the beginning I doubted myself until I saw the first test. Great teacher!

Very difficult. He does not review for tests. He gets angry when you disagree with his opinion. Does not recognize your thoughts or suggestions. Tests are impossible. Had a B average in all my other classes, but got a D in his. Avoid this man, horrible teacher!

shep was real boring, he thought he was plato himself and hated when other people had different views on things, he changes up the syllabus, gives quizes all the time then "he gets bored with quizzes" and doesnt want to do them anymore, so if you have a bad average then your screwed, he sux

When a teacher tells you the first day of class that 75% of his students fail, there is something wrong. He does not review for tests. His tests are extremely tough. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I had a 3.8 average and I received a D in this class.

He is a really good teacher. He knows his stuff and likes what he does. Don't miss any classes though. He gives pop quizzes as a way of attendance and they are within the first 5 minutes of class. Also most of the test material is on his notes so pay attn

The tests are hard. He teaches well and is very coherent. Very loud and makes corny jokes but it's okay. You really do not need a book for his class. Look up literary work on the internet and your good.

Professor Shepard is the most boring teacher I have ever had. He has such a loud voice. He will try to wake the class by yelling out examples. Half the class sleeps through class. His tests are near impossible however he does curve to help everyone out.
