Great professor! Like taking his class, had a good sense of humor. First test was a cakewalk, the second and final however were MUCH more difficult. But he is more than willing to go over and over... everything until you remember. I did not even open my book once, he prefers you look in your notes rather than book Great guy, definitely recommend!

Easy, The grading scale starts with 50% being a C in his class. If you do not pass this class then you should not be in college.

He was a decent teacher. But sometimes it was hard to actually understand what he's teaching. The tests are decently hard but the grading scale is SUPER helpful. So it's actually easy to get a good grade in his class.

Okay, I loved Walsh. His grading scale was 80% and up is an A, and he helped if you actually cared enough to go in to office hours. He's funny and if you attend class and pay attention you'll be fine. 6 question tests, ask questions and he'll go over anything. I'd take him again--did twice last yr!

I paid $4000 for this guy to go fishing. He can't even use the email. The semester is over and I dont really know anything about Econ. He went fishing alot and makes you feel stupid. Every single homework assignment he gave us was wrong. He sent us study guides for the 1st test when we were taking the 3rd test. He gave us the wrong fumulas.

This guy is crazy. He knows everything about Econ, but he Can Not Teach. He makes everything into a lame-ass joke and constantly looks at people's butts. I dilegently try to get a good grade, and I really care about this class because I'll be using it in business my whole life. However, he hasn't taught us a single comprehendable thing.

Walsh is a really cool guy and always has a funny story to tell. His lectures get pretty dry sometimes and I usually had to take his note topics and study them in the book. Definitely put in time studying for his tests, they're 5 questions but he usually goes over what is on the test briefly. His quizzes are difficult though. There's not much hw.

Class was extremely easy. Each letter grade is given at 20%, so 80 is an A 60 a B and so on. I took notes every day in class and looked them over before quizzes, never had trouble on any of them. His homework can sometimes be a little hard to understand but you will barely get any. Got an easy A would highly recommend.

Idk what all the beef is against walsh, great prof. KNOWS his stuff, I learned more in this class than any other finc or econ class I've taken. Tests are 6 questions, you just need to explain it using the class theories. Easy prof, and you will learn a lot. I wish every prof was like him.

Where to start... Unlike some other profs, Walsh is actually good at lecturing. His problem is he couldn't write a test to save his life. Don't believe me? Ask the girl that burst into tears during our last test! Also, they could create a TV show about how unapproachable he is. If you like taking advantage of office hours find a different prof...

I would recommend taking his class. I was not looking forward to econ, but I ended up getting an A in the class. His grading scale (80%=A) makes it pretty easy to get an A. As long as you study for the tests and don't procrastinate, they are not hard. He gives review sessions before each test based on questions from the class which are helpful.

Walsh is a pretty funny guy and the class isn't too bad. It gets boring at times but he has a super easy grading scale, no homework, a few super short writing assignments, three quizzes(drop the lowest), two tests and he bumps up your test scores if you do better on those sections in the final!
