Comment:
This was a pretty easy class and as long as you pay attention in each class and read the textbook it should be an easy A. Weinell can come off a little rude and I have seen him yell at some students, but overall he means well and is full of life lessons. Access is a pretty useful tool in terms of job opportunities, so i'd recommend this class.

I took INTD 106/107/108 with Weinell. Create a close relationship with him, he will appreciate it. These minis can get boring from time to time, but are not tough. Use the textbook to master the assignments. He WILL go off on a tangent a lot of the time (it's just how he is). Not very helpful outside class if you don't bring your own questions.

Weinell doesn't tolerate any misconduct. Which is understandable because if someone gets lost he has to go over and see what went wrong. Don't buy the book, take notes. He basically tells you what is going to be on the test. Easy class if you're good with computers.

Class wasn't very interesting, but also wasn't very difficult. If you take notes and study you will do fine. Got off topic frequently.

What you need to study for a test is unclear. He goes off on inrelavent tangents. He tryes to be a motivator and not a teacher so you barely learn management. Grading is rediculous, test are multiple choice and often questions are ones you have never seen. Worse teacher i have taken at oneonta. i had an A in every other course except his i got a B-

Very knowledgeable professor, gave practice assignments on aplia before every test which included many of the questions that were on the test. cares about his students and their grades. if you put effort into this class, it's an easy A

Fantastic Professor. Vast business-knowledge and is very close to the campus and it's community. Although the class was 90% note-taking, shares stories and advice that you'll keep with you for a long time. Only grades were through 4 exams which contained questions from online homework. Always willing to help and would definitely take again.

Open book, open note. Just try to write down everything he says cause sometimes he does not go by the book. The tests can be tricky, so redo everything in class twice as a study guide. Excel was the hardest, the final on that was impossible. Rent the books off of Amazon! One con is that he talks A LOT. Can be overally sarcastic, he's a nice guy.

Weinell is a great guy and a great prof. Make sure to pay attention in class and you're guaranteed to get an A in the class. He tells you exactly what to study for the tests and points out mistakes students usually make. His tests are open notebook and easy if you follow his directions. I never used the textbook but some students found it helpful.

The nicest guy you'll ever meet, but not the greatest teacher. Nonetheless, if you make an effort and go to class you'll come out with an A. The journey to get that A will be a little exhausting though.

Weinell is a great guy, and has nothing but great intentions. He cares more about the students getting As than us understanding the material, which is cool, but bad if the class is for your major. He wastes a lot of class time, then scrambles last minute to try and teach the test. We also learned not nearly as much as other accounting classes.

Weinell means well, but wastes time in the classroom. Very well could've been an online class. Posts powerpoints online, but reads them in class and gives vague examples that lead to off topic discussions about his personal life and food preferences. He's generous with helping grades, but that doesn't make a good "teacher"

Beyond boring class for something I already wasn't interested in. He lectures about life a lot and he cares about attendance a lot. Final is cumulative and the only grades are tests. Says he'll boost grade at the end if attendance is good maybe drop the lowest one. Has lots of office hours for you to get help.

Does not teach a single thing until the class before the test when everyone is freaking out. Doesn't ever assign homework or do practice problems in class (which is hard to do in accounting courses) and you sit and take notes all class every class. Would never take him again

Wienell is an amazing professor. I took all three of his computer minis and ACCT100. If every professor on Earth could be exactly like him it'd be a better place. Really cares about his students and won't teach you anything you're not going to need in the real world. If you get a chance to take a class with him do it he's full of life advice.

My favorite professor here. This class was a breeze, he posts a bunch of review MC questions online before the test and takes test questions from there. Print ppts b4 class so you don't have to take notes. He's very inspirational and motivating, some might say he's cheesy but he's super nice and helpful. He wants the best for his students.

Great Teacher. Tells you exactly what you will need to do on tests. The test are open notes, open textbook. He lets you out early almost every class(especially if your his last class of the day). He really wants you to pass. And he is pretty funny too.
