Awful professor. She refused to answer questions and chose to ignore students. Difficult to focus in lecture due to Woodhull being scatterbrained and speaking with a monotone voice. Genuinely doesn't care for her students. You would be best served avoiding her all together. Worst professor I have ever encountered.

OMG this professor was SO MEAN! She talked above students like she knew it all and was so much better than everyone. She isn't open minded AT ALL and definetely picks favorites. I was shocked knowing UCSD would hire such a professor. She was very unprofessional too because she didn't come to class on time. Worst experience with a college professor

The worst Professor I have ever had at UC, San Diego because she picks favorites, makes students feel incompetent, and has a bad attitude in life. She is very unprofessional in her teaching mannerisms and uses sarcastic, demeaning language to address students. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASSES.

Professor Woodhull was the WORST professor I have ever had. Her rules for the class were confusing. She grades very unfairly and picks favorites. Really bad experience with this porfessor and her unfair, poor quality teaching.

OMG she is psycho. She is always getting mad at people for being late or leaving early when she is late all the time (including being 20 mins late to our final!) She had a Christian Bale-esque freakout during lecture during which she berated our generation for our lack of respect and concluded in her storming out.

Professor Woodhull is a brilliant woman with an amazing level of retention when it comes to history. She interjects her lectures with both literary theory and historical context and makes the class both interesting and thought-provoking. If you've had any previous experience with literature courses, you'll love her class. Tests are hard, but fair.

Gen. ed. requirement for Marshall. Unlike the DOC series, these books are actually interesting! Prof. Woodhull is a very friendly woman, willing to answer any questions during and after lecture. One midterm, one essay, one final, same as many other history courses. If you don't read the books before lecture, though, you're screwed, so keep up!

This woman's sentences are extremely long and it takes forever for her to make her point. Although you nearly want to die during lecture, she is better than **** or Cancel. Grade is dependent upon your TA as usual. Midterm/Final are reflective of what is covered during lecture..nothing crazy.

The students who say that she sucks are people who don't want to learn. She may be a bit boring but trust me, her lectures are really helpful to the midterm and final in which the class average is B+ and higher. this is one of the most boringest lecturers i've ever had. i stopped going to her class halfway through the quarter just cause i couldn't stay awake through her whole lecture. she jumps around and it's hard to follow what she's explaining. i thought zepeda was boring but after woodhull..zepeda doesn't seem half as bad!

Definitely the worst DOC professor, even worst than Zepeda! She enjoys the material, but her lectures are very dry and the connections she makes are often tenous at best. She often uses rarely heard words without explaining their meaning and she jumps around. On the brightside, the midterm was a joke.
