Dr. Zhang is very energetic and explains concepts really well. She gives you everything you need in her handouts, so go to class and get the handouts. If you don't, you likely won't pass. There are only 8 homeworks and 2 tests plus the final exam. Not many opportunities to redeem yourself if you mess up! The tests are somewhat hard.

Jackie is an amazing professor. It is kind of a waste for her to teach intro to engineering so I am sure she doesn't take it to seriously. As far as water resources very fast pace but she keeps it simple. Great professor with very good example problems and gives explanations for all the theories. Wish she taught more undergrad classes.

She is an alright teacher. She is very nice but this class does not really give me an idea if I want to become a civil engineer or not. We do not work enough hands on. And we do not work on Autocad enough.

I kind of thought that Intro classes would help you understand what you are getting yourself into, well, not with Jackie. She is very unclear, and not only with her accent, but in her teaching style, or lack of. The little green face on her rating says it all, Huh?
