Zhao was one of the few profs I felt I could take seriously in CMNS. Those who commented on Zhao's accent just have to try a little harder. Yes, she has an accent but it still possible to follow her lectures if you make some effort. Very fair marker.

She's nice and knows what she's talking about, but her accent and tone makes me feel like she's yelling at me the entire lecture. I also stopped going to the first half of lecture because I felt that she wasn't on topic until 40mins into lecture.

Really knows her stuff. Lectures are conversational, but sometimes tough to grasp. Very enthusiastic about it, tries to make it more interesting. Seemed kinda disinterested when I went to see her though...not an easy course.
