He is an awesome teacher. He grew up in Japan during WWII and has a lot of cool stories about the war He tells some funny jokes sometimes and is very animated in his teaching which gets your attention All you have to do is read the book and go to class and you will get a good grade. Just don't sit at the front of the class unless you want a shower.

even though hes hard to understand at times, i thought he was a riot. for the first test i studied the book more than my notes and gotta B, for the remaining 4 i just studied the notes and got As. the tests are 95% note based. good teacher!

Yes, he has an accent, but it's not that hard to understand him. His tests are always based on the text and his lectures, so if you do the reading and go to class, you should be fine. Plus, he always adds stories to make his lectures more enjoyable.

I have no idea why he is still teaching. He is so dificult to understand with his accent and the fact that it sounds like his dentures are going to fall out any second. You learn most of the material from reading the text and less from his lectures.
