The class was in my opinion a good 9. I think Dr. Hawkins knows the material very well and it's nice to have a professor that is organized and who doesn't jump around i really appreciate it because it helped me stay focused and to see the big picture of the outcomes. He helps you out if you seek him, and doesn't make you feel stupid for not knowing

One of the best teachers I have had. The textbook is so easy to read. He wrote this textbook. The labs are really fun to do and that's your only work besides reading and going to class. I really enjoy his teaching style too. Definitely recommend this class. If you want to learn about computer or electrical engineering you won't regret this class.

Good sense of humor, entertaining lectures. Has a tendancy to gloss over details; overall, though, he is very clear. Watch out for tests - the homework is NOT adequate preperation.
