Alden was always quick to email back when I had questions. Her office is normally always open as long as she's not in class or in a meeting. Over all everything was always explained clearly, just make sure to not procrastinate on studying or your research paper.

Super nice, and super helpful. Always offers extra office hours any time she can. Very understanding professor and will work with you through issues you may have. You just have to communicate with her. Also, she brought her dog to class a couple times. Extra points on the awesome scale.

He really liked her as a professor. She is so nice and welcoming. She has office hours to help or talk when necessary. She gave quizzes, a midterm, final, and final paper but prepares you for them all. She goes over material very well and wants everyone to pass. She even had study sheets for quizzes and exams and reviews for the midterm and final

Dr. Cavanaugh is the best teacher by far at Indiana State. She will help you if you ask for it and she is crystal clear on what she wants from you. 8-10 page final paper assigned at the beginning of the semester and due at the end. Amazing teaching style, I learned a lot from her.

She is the best Art History prof in my opinion!!! If you must take art history then I would suggest all of her classes! I took 3 of them with her and she is so kind and always there when you need her. Even though I have finished my art history classes I still see her and she always invites me to come and have a cup of tea with her in her office!

I absolutely loved this professor! I highly recommend taking her. She is so sweet and willing to help out her students as much as possible. You can meet with her as much as you want before you turn any paper in so you pretty much will do well no matter what. Right down everything she says in class, you're guaranteed an A on tests then.

By far the best professor i have had. Not difficult if you put in the work. Lots of material to cover but if you attend class and pay attention you should do well. And if you don't she will meet with you at any time and help. She even helped me with personal issues and gave me her number if i needed her. So sweet. Really cares about her students.

Dr. Cavanaugh is a wonderful professor! I had the chance to have her again for my upper division art history course and I took it! Yes, she will cover lots of material in every class, but she's very knowledgable in her field, and she is always willing to go out of her way to help you in any way possible to ensure you succeed. I recommend her 100%!

Very helpful, the class is one of the easiest as long as you pay attention and take notes. The test are very easy as long as you study. She goes over all test materials and answers any questions the day before the test. One of the most helpful profs I've ever had.

Wasn't interested in the class at all prior, but Alice at least made it somewhat interesting. Very, very easy. I didn't buy the book and we had only one test and a 3 page paper the entire semester. She cancelled class a lot as well, though I don't know if that is typical of her or if I just got lucky this semester.
