FANTASTIC professor! There is literally NO ONE else like him! He's an absolute delight! His comments are little cryptic but if you ask him, he'll tell you exactly what he wants in your papers. He's challenging (as all professors should be!) but is always happy to answer your questions. Would take again!

He is a good teacher, but a shoddy advisor. When you have his class, make sure you talk, sometimes he can be likea bad comedian dying on stage. But don't judge him on that, when you get into his class, he's relaxed, doesn't flip out and just wants to get the best out of you. Somewhat awkward, but flexible.

BUMAS IS CRAZY!!! lol he is extremely wacky and so funny, which is why I loved coming to his class. Three hours seems like one hour cuz his class was so much fun. I highly recommend him. The workload isn't too crazy. About 4 poems and 2 stories to write for the semester.

great professor. extremely knowledgeable in many areas. very willing to help students, and allows multiple revisions before final portfolios are handed in. he is a little wacky, but really funny, and definitely knows how to hold your attention for 3 hours. i would take a class with him again in a heartbeat.

Dr. Bumas is quite odd, but this works perfectly in his creative writing classes. He's quite demanding when it comes to writing stories, but he wants you to write well which makes him a great professor. I thought he was out of his mind when I first took him, but I came to love him. Take him if you enjoy the weird things in life.
