I felt like I was in a high school class... weekly homework writing summaries of readings, class attendance mandatory, and participation highly required. This class requires a lot of writing so it's not the typical number crunching acctg course.. it covers U.S. corporations, SOX, corporate governance, ethics, and board of director structures. BAH!

Once you get to know this professor, you will be happy to have known her. She is helpful and always has time for her students. If you work hard, then she will acknowledge it. If anyone has problems in her class, including the subject matter, then all you have to do is communicate your problems to her, and she is more than happy to help students

I've never actually seen a teacher yell at a student until Venable. She needs to go to teaching school. The class itself was so so, but we all cringed when it was Venable's turn to ask us a question on our project. She's not very helpful or approachable.
