If your looking for an "A", take STAT500 with Carolyn....quizzes, cases and final all extremely easy. If your looking to learn alot about Statistics, probably not your best option. She focuses half of class on presentation of charts/graphs. I was excited about Statistics, but this class didn't do much for me.

Carolyn is a nice person. She goes out of her way to attempt to keep things interesting for an otherwise bring subject. She does bring snacks to class. Grading can be a little harsh but she was more than fair on the final. I did not like the subject but I did like Carolyn.

She was entertaining during class sessions, I can say that for sure. If you expect a well-organized and structured class (as I did), avoid taking this Prof! It is an "A" or "B" if you put forth half-hearted effort. She did bring snacks to every class...bonus!

She is a good teacher who gets the job done by making students work for their grade. I didnt say much in class so I didnt have a problem with her attitude. Although I have never worked so hard for a class, I learned a lot so in the end it was worth it.

Carolyn isn't indicative of the other professors in the MBA program. She's a nice person, but she needs to work on her patience. She also acts unprofessionally in the classroom and likes to yell at the class instead of encouraging it. She was always late for class and kept everyone late.

I really enjoyed Carolyn's class. She is quirky and does enjoy a little bit of playful banter with her students. She really seems to enjoy statistics and wants to make the material relevant and interesting. Don't bother buying the book-lecture notes are what she uses for quizzes and exams. I learned a lot in her class. I would recommend her.

I really enjoyed her!! She is fun and makes learning the stats easier with practical applications. Some find her a bit "mean" but really it is because they have very thin skin, she likes to tease people but she has a big heart!!

Carolyn is on of the best things that can happen to you at Xavier. It's not an easy class, but she creates enjoyable and friendly environment that helps you to understand the material. Final is challenging, but she gives it 2 weeks ahead and has 2 help sessions. She is an outstanding educator that successfully combines fun and science in class.

Exceedingly unprofessional: demeaning, ****, & juvenile. Refers to herself as "the Queen" and insinuates that no one else's point of view is relevant. Xavier should be ashamed of Carolyn Luzader. If she was indicative of the other professors at Xavier, I would transfer immediately--she is that bad.

Joke of a professor. Wastes time in class with pointless stories and then fails to cover the material. The amount she teaches in 2.5 hours per night could be tought in a half hour if she would cut the BS. An MBA class and you can get extra credit for picking the winner of Survivor: PATHETIC!
