If you are trying to take an online summer class and trying to work full time, then this is not the professor for you. Her tests are impossible and she records you and your screen during the tests. She expects everyone to study at least 18 hours a week regardless of other classes or work.

Dr. Cagle is a really nice person, very intelligent. However, she makes the course more difficult than it needs to be. Participation is mandatory but not graded. There are no homework assignments (meaning no opportunity to earn credit). The grading scale was 90% tests and 10% quizzes, that's it. And, the tests are impossible to pass.

I really loved Dr Cagle. She surpassed my expectations. Even though the class was a two week intercession, one definitely still needed to put in the work to earn their grade. She is a brilliant/intelligent professor and so she goes really in depth with the material and wants you to do so too. She was also always willing to give help when needed.

Classic example of a professor who can't distinguish between an MBA class where 90% of students have full-time jobs and undergrad classes. You'll spend hrs memorizing useless formulas and hrs reviewing 100+ slides all while racing through every chapter. ENTIRELY too much info. When all is over, you'll think "I'm not sure I learned anything"

If your interested in finance at all, she will be one of the toughest teachers that you ever have but you will learn more than any other class. Be prepared to put in the time but it will pay off in the end. She is a freaking genius and knows just about everything in finance.

Outstanding professor! The course was very challenging, but the curriculum is fascinating. Dr. Cagle follows the textbook very closely. Tests were challenging, but the homework assignments and in-class exercises were excellent preparation for the test questions. I highly recommend this course. Excellent course and instructor!

VERY tough class in the MBA program. Only exams, but you still need to do the suggested problems. Exams are a nightmare and very long, but if you do her examples you should come out OK. Don't expect to slack off in this class at all!

Toughest class in the MBA program! However, I learned more in this class than in all other classes combined. Dr. Cagle is tough, but fair and went out of her way to help. She is no-nonsense and goes through the material very quickly, but she gives each student ample time to ask questions and is available out class. I would take her again.

She isn't all bad, but she isn't good either. Its almost like taking two classes. The first half of the class was crystal clear and taught in a logical way. The second half is almost like she got tired of teaching. Its was really strange. She doesn't write all her work down and is kind of short with students. I would recommend finding another

Class is challenging, but fair. There are no surprises on the tests, but they will test your application of the topic. Her multiple choice questions are difficult, but there is case/extra credit. She moves through material very quickly. I found myself looking back at the book or my notes from FINC 500. I enjoyed the class and her as a professor.

Over all she is difficult but fair. The tests were right in line with what was covered in class (no surprises). I would recommend keeping up on the practice problems and taking a lot of time to work on case studys. Finance is not my subject.

I find her to be very systematic. If you are a student that needs babied through the process she will help but at the same time if don't ask there will be no help. She goes through material quickly so you should spend time outside of class to truly understand the material to the lvl needed to attain an A. Her tests are difficult but no surprises

She is nice but sets the bar high. Expects students to understand difficult concepts quickly. Use the study sessions and teaching assistant for help. You'll need it.

AWFUL teacher. Her tests were impossible, no matter how hard students studied. Hard-core Republican, and lets everyone know it. Southern accent. I did not learn anything. The only grades are: 3 tests and 3 spreadsheet assignments. Participation is mandatory, but not graded, and no easy homework grades or extra credit. Avoid at all costs!!!

This is a very structured class. You can tell that Julie prepares before her classes. Her exams are hard which keeps the class interesting. Make sure to do the practice problems and you will get a good grade and learn a little too.

I waited until I got my grade back to comment on her class: It gets better as the semester winds down. The final is easier than the midterm. Do well on the paper (even though it's only 10% of your grade) and you'll get a decent grade. If you cram the night before her exams, you will fail this class (unless you are a genius).
