Took Magee in the spring2017. This was my first dance cls ever. She was patient with me & supportive. She is a very strict teacher, but I have only seen her reprimand students who are not doing what they are supposed to be doing. Like talking while she is, or students who try to intimidate others. Be nice and don't disrupt the class atmosphere.

I love Ms. Magee I truly loved this class I took modern dance and her Pilates/ dance class . I had so much fun and she helped me coordinating my body. Even though I'm not truly a dancer I loved the way she brought me out of it.

Horrible professor....all she does is blabber about NONSENSE. She is very rude and LAZY-she claims to be very busy and seems to rush class all the way to the end but thats total BS.. She is very biased with grades...especially towards the students she favors more. Horrible TEACHER DO NOT TAKE

Guys! It's obvious a lot of you are NOT happy with Magee's teaching, but writing on here doesn't make any difference. GO TO THE DEAN AND COMPLAIN! the school is never going to do anything about her if you don't TELL THEM about her. its easy! just go to his office in the C building and talk to him for a few minutes. thats all it takes!

Very unorganized, and completely incapable of explaining anything in a coherent way. It's an easy class, and if you can ignore her insults and abuse for a semester its an easy humanities. I would not recommend her to anyone unless you absolutely have to take this corse.

DO NOT TAKE!!! Supposed to be learning about the history of dance and haven't learned a thing. Habitually late, goes off topic, interrupts you, leaves class for 15-20min, easily offended, inconsistant, and makes you dread coming to class. Not worth your time, so don't bother wasting your money on this teacher. BAD PUPPY NO BISCUIT!

Miss Magee shows passion for the dance production 10. I look forward to dancing in the production because she has the best ideas for her class beg to adv. Her dancing and techniqes are excellent. I look forward to learning under this great teacher. Take her Modern Dance Production 10 class if you like performing. It is challenging.

Wom, I am having the pleasure of dancing under a master dance teacher. This semester is proving to be another opportunity to be in the presence of Miss Magee. She is so very creative in the way she teaches beginners to advanced. Every class is challenging and exciting. I look forward to being in her dance concerts every year. Take production 10.

Professor Magee is professional and very nice teacher. I learned a lot about dance history. Take this teacher because she teaches from the book, gives seven test and you do a concert report. While she gave me options for make up so I could get an A. Take her if you need an easy A.

She is an absolutely horrible teacher. DO NOT TAKE HER! How she is still teaching is beyond me. She epitomizes a bad teacher. Takes kindly to dancers who have experience but does not favor inexperienced students. Gives students warm-ups and dance combinations that are extremely advanced and does not do a good job of explaining cautionary measures.
