This class is easy if you have taken AP stat. For my fellow peers, most were confused for the majority of the semester. Regardless there are two exams, a final, and two projects. He is accessible to check the two projects before turning them in; highly recommend. Really nice guy and knows a lot about statistics!

He teaches very well and uses examples for everything. He allows a formula page front and back for each test (3 for the final). He gives optional homework. It does help for the more difficult sections. Very easy to contact. Tests are hard! Do study and create the sheet. He curves grades heavily! I learned a lot in his class. Don't skip class!

Dan is a good professor. His voice is a bit timid, but don't let that fool you. He most definitely curves grades at the end of the semester which helps save your grade by a ton! Just go in, pay attention, and you'll have no problem passing the class

The homework for this class is optional; never graded or collected. However, we do go over it in class for clarifying purposes. Miller is an excellent professor that makes statistics an easy subject to learn and comprehend. He's very understanding, patient, and will take the time to make sure everyone understands the topic at hand.

Dan is the man! I just took him for Stat 104 this summer for a 5 week session and he was so helpful. I have taken stats before with other professors and found him to be exceptional. He explains things very clearly, encourages you to ask questions and doesn't make you feel dumb. 3 tests; formula sheets allowed!

Course isn't easy. Whole class struggled. Prof Miller was great, though. He provided multiple examples every time he taught something new. Although he doesn't check hw, it is helpful to do in preparation for quizzes. 3 exams. Cheat sheets allowed with anything you want on them. ANYTHING. He is very nice, patient, and intelligent. Deff recommend!

You do a lot of group projects, but overall he is a decent professor. He makes a lot of jokes, most of them are not funny, and he repeats them all the time. But he is laid-back, and it is a pretty easy class. Recommend taking him.

Math is not my easiest subject. I struggled with Statistics. I met with Dr. Miller several times for extra help. His support was always positive, encouraging, and would not let me give up. He helped me as well as helping several other students. He cares about his students success. If you need to take statistics I highly recommend his class

I appreciate that we are allowed cheat sheets for quizzes and exams, but they are of little to no help, honestly. No matter what is written down, it's impossible to figure out what information to use for each problem, he doesn't clarify what's being asked on the tests.

Very fair professor. Also very patient. I am NOT a math person. Took stat 104 over the summer. Made himself available for extra help. I went often, and still did not do excellent on any of my exams. However, he curved our class very fairly, and I ended up with a C-. Being as poor of a math student as I am, I'll take that anyday!
