Comment:
Drew Christie is the most kind heart-ed professor. He is lenient on deadlines, he disregards attendance, yet you still take a lot from any class. PHIL701 is a senior-level seminar, and I was struggling to keep my life together, yet he still gave me a B after many missed assignments, classes and lazily-written papers. He is super brilliant.

Drew is often too smart for his own good, which is why people tend to have trouble with his classes. If you actually work at the class and spend time on the material it is not difficult. Drew is always open to questions, just ask him to slow down a little when he answers them

Hard to understand and goes way too fast on power points. Even with notecards on exams, they are still difficult. Often has material he hasn't yet covered on the homework.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT take a class with him. He is the most confusing, disorganized and unclear person in the world. terrible professor, terrible class, terrible subject. However he is a good man, but not a good professor

very boring and monotone. taking a logic class was definitely one of my biggest mistakes in my life. he is a good person, but a bad professor with boring, strange and pointless subjects to teach

This man is just straight up weird. For example, in the middle of power points, he'll just toss in a picture of two of 13 year old Emma Watson...that being said, he's fun to laugh at

Drew is hilarious. The lectures aren't really worth going to, if you read the slides posted online the homework and tests become very easy. Pretty boring, but if you put up with it, it's a GPA booster

Definate GPA booster. Lectures are boring at times. Attendance is not mandatory. Notecards can be used for tests so no studying is required. Grades are based on whether you do your work or not. Tests (37%), the rest is out of class short easy responses. Definately reccomend taking. Some of the material is really interesting.

I think Drew Christie is a really great teacher. Not only is he nice to his students, but he is really passionate about what he teaches and I respect him a lot. I don't think it is fair to say skipping his class is worth it. If you take the class (Ecology and Values) you will learn a lot about eye opening problems in our world.

Funny/weird guy. Extremely easy class as long as you do your work. His lectures were kind of boring sometimes, I suggest skipping class at least once a week so you don't kill someone. Besides that, it's worthwhile. GPA booster.

His lectures are unclear. His tests are laughable. There isn't much incentive to go to class, no one does. Weekly postings on blackboard are a huge pain, and become tedious after the fourth week. His grading makes no sense, so your grades are a surprise. I don't even think this is worth taking, despite being an easy A or B.

Moral Philosophy: It seemed as though he needed to be more well-versed in the subject matter that he was teaching, though I think this was his first experience teaching the class. The class could have also benefited from more structure. It is apparent though that he is a good person and you could certainly do much worse than to take his class.

confusing lectures, but repeats concepts till they are drilled in your head. uses a test/retest procedure, and gives extra credit problems, and help any time... check grading on your tests, i haven't had one yet that didn't have a grading error... but over all, it's hard to not get an A in his class
