I took the online class which was very hard. I could barely hear him on the computer and sometimes the site would work or wouldn't. I would of had an A if it would of been in class. He does a ton of busy work and doesn't tell you when you have things to do. I recommend taking this in class if you can't speak Spanish very well.

Horrible, horrible teacher. Probably in my top five worst teachers ever. I took his course online and 90% of the time Baum didnt even know how to use the online program. It was very unclear what homework was due, and when it was due. Dont take this class unless you already know Spanish.

This guy is a complete joke. Do not take this course if you are looking for an easy grade, actually want to learn spanish, or wanting to leave the class with a better understanding of the language. If you are taking any spanish courses, I would reccommend taking Dr. Bowman. Dr. Baum doesn't care about you or your understanding of the language. 1/10

Dr. Baum is a great teacher he is very understanding. At first I was hesistant about his spanish class but in the end everything came together. He is definatly favorable to those who attend class and participate but as a teacher who wouldnt be. Show up for class and this class should be very very easy.

I think this was a useless class in the fact that anyone could have done a better job of teaching it. I believe that he looks at you and decided the first day of class what your grade will be from then on. I would never tatke him again, even if it meant changing schools. He shows favortism and is unhelpful and often unintelligible.

Awesome teacher! If you miss class, very understanding! Will help you understand better if you just ask him. Seems unclear at first, but as time goes by, you see where he's going with all of it. Very laidback, funny. Makes the spanish applicable to your life by making assignments have relevent questions for you to answer.

Dr. Baum ROCKS!!! I didn't care a whole lot about literature as a whole, but he made it pretty interesting. If you don't understand what the heck is going on in a story (which is often) he would definately help you out. A small class helps, but a great professor.
