If you lovee to write and is outspoken u should take this class..otherwise dont.. she calls on u on the spot and expects u to have an answer and if u dont she will hold up class til u come up with one..you have to write alot and MUST be creative at all time with details..this class is for people without a life.

A little eccentric. A careful editor, but not mean or overly critical. Likes the talented students, but she was pretty encouraging to the others as well. A lot of kids did some good work in her class. She had us do team writing assignments, which I thought was stupid, but I ended up paired with a gal I had a crush on, so I was OK with it.

I loved her class! She caters to outgoing, creative people who love to talk (like me). The assignements were fun and the textbook was excellent. Don't take her unless you can bear criticism well. She does critique, as she should. That is how one learns and improves.

Thou the point of the class circle is prob for more class participation, it wasnt a comfortable environment. The students who usually commented were always the same ones. The others were often put on the spot. She does give very good reading matl. Good ideas, but not a good way to deliver them. Looking for the 'right' students, breeds arrogance.

Professor Sharpe is something else.....The very first time I met her, I thought she was going to be a lot tougher than she was. She's a tough grader, and critic at times but it's all for the good. The very first thing I picked up on, was how she loved to teach. I would recommed her for English II.

Like many free spirits, she's quite the eccentric. It takes time to get used to the sitting-in-a-circle thing and I never enjoy reading my work aloud to class, but the class was interesting and insightful. I did make some good friends from that class. The circle thing did help create a good bond between us. But she is a tough critic at times.

She Needs to Retire. She likes telling people that their work isn't good enough or tells you what to write about. Why doesn't she just do the work herself. She needs to go sit at home and enjoy her retirement already!!! Other people are looking for jobs and she's just taking up space!

She's an easy teacher, but if you go against anything she says you are automatically wrong. Odds are she dosen't like you and won't like you EVER. Although she looks like a sweet lady she's a jerk. I recomend taking her though cause she is a REAL easy B without trying. yea...i still disklike her
