Read the book, pay attention, and you will do fine. She expects her students to be studious, go figure. She is receptive to questions and corrections, so do not be afraid to ask her about something if she misspoke or if you didn't understand. Really hands on. Always excited for class, can tell she loves teaching, so she makes the class pretty fun. Class isn't mandatory, but if you go to class, you won't have to spend too much time outside of class. Highly recommend. Best teacher I've had.

Class is relatively easy. She gives a lot of helpful worksheets and in-class activities. Tests are not too hard but not too easy either. Dr. Mazur is very nice and I am taking another class with her next semester. I highly recommend this class whether you need it for your major or not.

she has written in her syllabus that if you are late to class during a quiz you cannot take the quiz after all materials are handed out. i couldn't take a quiz and had to get take a zero because of this, yet i've seen her let 5 students take a quiz late.
