I left M'ville because he was such a horrible teacher. Biggest waste of time ever - he wants students to progress at HIS schedule rather than the students' schedules. He has very low standards for students that are extremely capable - I saw this with many of my classmates as well as myself. Egotistical & condescending as a conductor. RETIRE!!!

He is very nice. Even when I play really bad because I didn't practice any, he still says "very good." But he blocks the notes on my music when I am trying to play them, then gets frustrated when I don't play the right notes because I can't see

Very opinionated. Extremely unclear. Does not review material upon student's request. Horrible conductor. How the hell could you allow an 80+ year old man still teach?!?!? Extremely unfair to students in the orchestra.
