Dr. Bocchino is an amazing professor, definitely the best in the science department at CMSV. He cares about how well his students do. His lectures can be heavy and he can also trail off into various stories from time to time, but for me those stories help me remember the material better. His Patho class is an easy A, just study his notes!

This Professor is amazing, it shows that he really cares about his students and his work, he is really nice but also strict. He lets you record his lectures, if you have any questions you can ask him and he will go into detail to help you understand. The textbook is not used in class but it does help you a lot to review before and after lecture.

Awesome lab professor! He explains things really clearly and thoroughly, and tells you exactly what's going to be on quizzes/practicals. He makes sure everyone understands the material really well and offers his own diagrams to supplement. Would definitely take again!

I had him a couple years ago for A&P. Hes overall an okay professor but his lecture exams are very difficult. You must study everyday for his exams. Hes a really good lab professor and would recommend him for lab.

One of the BEST professors at CMSV. The people who usually complain are the people who don't pay attention in class. Yes his exams are tricky but if you pay attention in class and ask questions you are golden! I really wish he would teach nursing classes. Amazing Professor!!!

I was never a big science person but I did need this class for Occupational Therapy in Psychology. Bocchino was a wonderful science professor for the summer and really helped me become more informative of the topics he went over. His lectures are pretty in depth but he does allow you to record him.

Dr. Bocchino's lectures are very deep and insightful; they are a bit lengthy but he does allow students to record his voice. Your overall grade for the semester is solely based on how well you do on the four exams given. The textbook is needed to pass the lecture exams and the lab manual is needed to pass the lab practicals. Great teacher overall.

I did not buy the lecture textbook, only the lab because bocchino is the BEST professor in the science department and everything he says is in the textbook. He is so awesome as long as you pay attention in class and take detailed notes you'll be fine.

Honestly an amazing person and professor !! I had him for A&P 1 and 2 . He is such an old fashion professor,writes notes on the board and occasionally gives you hand outs . He explains clearly and gives great life examples that are easy to relate to the material . Listen in his class !! Everything he states and writes on the board is on the exam!

He is very sweet, understanding, and funny. I took him because of all the amazing reviews I heard and read. Most of them are accurate but one problem I have with the way he teaches is he is all over the place it is very difficult to understand him at times. It is a very hard class and you definitely need to work for the grade

Prof Bocchino, is quite knowledgeable. However, his tests are too hard considering that he is just reading from his notes. For Pharm it's way too much material, let's put it this way, passing is the goal, at the end of the day, nobody learns anything in that class. It's impossible for the human brain to learn so much in such little time. blah!

Dr. Bocchino is the best professor I have ever had.. I've had him for 4 classes and though he is not "easy," he is an awesome professor. I never dreaded class because he is funny and makes the material interesting. In my opinion, he is the best part of the Nursing program at CMSV. He is the smartest person I've ever met! Recommend him 100%.
