great great great professor. took him twice, looking forward to a 3rd. he deserves respect and those that done show it are often the ones that feel like he's unfair.

I took this class on a Wednesday night with only 10students in the class. The course was interesting. We didn't even need the textbook because he provided the power pints. Professor Alicea is one of the only professors I had who gave you an option to do extra credit, which will be added to your final grade. which is awesome!

I had him for Psych of the Exceptional Child, he knows a lot about what he teaches, but I was not crazy about his test style. If you think you're gonna walk into class with out studying and have a chance of passing? No way. You need to study. Overall he was alright. Make sure you hand in journal entries too.

I didn't care for his teaching style at all. His attitude is very condescending and he was not helpful.

Great professor, knowledgable about special ed. Give lots of real world examples and tell lots of stories. Tests are a wordy and formal, which is different from his lecture style. But his tests are fair, no suprises. Although its a 3 hour class, he runs it well and gives breaks. He's real down to earth, great sense of humor, and he's super cute

this man confuses himself on topic that he should know because he himself is a psychologist. He tells us to read the chapter, he should too.
