Comment:
He concentrates on just a bunch of equations. Doesn't realize 2+2 = 4 but 3+1 = 4 too!there are other ways to solve a prob but we have to stick to his method for grades.Doesn;t encourage thinnking at all.Need to memorize the text book. Should buy his expensive self written book which is a bucnh of papers bound together!Avoid him if possible!

Hated this class, but there's not much choice in the physics department. My advice to you: learn what he wants. Its all about sigfigs, using the formula HE wants, and work your butt off on his lab reports (they'll take 4 hours). Follow the example in the lab manual to a T.

He is difficult on grading esp sig figs and little details. Very nice proffesor. I didnt talk to him much and kept to myself. I got A's in both classes, so he doesn't play favorites like other ppl say. It was hard, but now I look back and it was a good experience for me.Made me more careful of my work and very comprehensive classes.

He is not that bad. Pay attention in class, do your homework, and be careful with sig. figs. He lets you write down the equations in a note card for the test.

Dr. Galloway is an easy teacher. All you have to do is write all the equations in your book on your little notecard, and an A is in the bag. These are the easiest classes I have ever taken.

The rudest, most unreasonably-picky-in-his-grading teacher I have ever had.

Pure insanity to his grading. Took 5 points off someone's lab report because they put 2004 instead of 2005. Poor use of class time. Poor utilization of text, which was horrible itself. He spent 20 minutes on an assigned homework problem only to realize he couldn't answer it himself! HORRIBLE!

This class is not that bad. There are plenty of opportunities for extra credit, so much so that you would probably have to work at failing in order to fail. If you have a firm grasp of algebra and trig, you'll manage.

The man's genius overshadows our puny minds. Highly mathematical approach to physics make it difficult for most. Takes off a ridiculous amount of points for sci notation and sig figs. There may be a method to his madness, but I can't figure it out.
