Prof. Johnson is an excellent professor. You can tell he genuinely LOVES what he does, knows a lot about BritLit, and cares about his students. The class itself is VERY reading heavy, there are 6 close reading assignments which are straightforward and an A is definitely achievable. Lots of discussions, be prepared to participate.

In appreciating literature, all he does is talk at the front. When asking the class questions he never actually tells us what is right and wrong but dances around peoples answers and passive aggressively tells them they are "almost right". Test and Quiz questions are very tricky whether you have done the reading or not.

This class was such a joke, Especially Jeff, the professor. Never knew any grades of the 8 or more presentations we did. Had 1 midterm and a final that wasn't even on our syllabus. I received a C+ and should've got an A for all of the effort I put into my presentations. Awful class, AWFUL professor. Don't take him.

nice teacher, but doesnt really teach you anything, all he does is stand in front of the class and mess on his computer, he almost always gives a one question quiz when class starts. there was only two exams this semester and he gives two practice ones,you basically have to teach yourself to pass this class, the practice exams are just like the tes
