Dr. Rigby is a very good professor. His lectures are not the most interesting but, he explains all concepts clearly. His tests and assignments are fair, with a decent effort a high mark can be achieved. The group project is challenging but, every course has a problem. I would take another course with John in the future.

Good Explanations and for the most part he was clear. Personality wise he was a little on the dry side and never made it that interesting. but the tests were based on what he explained (No surprises).

Really nice prof, but he seemed to pick favourites. The group project was a lot of work. Final came out of left field. Midterm was easy if you studied the textbook. Didn't miss a lecture and therefore got full attendance = 8% !!

-does not like talkative or outgoing people but answer his questions when he asks-bring your name tag-participation is a mark-midterm was fairly difficult-final had nothing to do with what he wanted us to study and know-would not advice a class from him-put be to sleep

Overall, a pretty good prof. Enhances his lectures with good use of humour and encourages student participation. Tests are quite long and involve topics not covered in class but found in the textbook. Very fair prof! Attend class, take notes, and read the text and you will do fine.

Johns class is not hard.However Johns case study class discussions are boring and he doesnt say much.Is what im saying good? bad? what?.Johns nice to talk to and responds to emails, is in his office often. But I would say he is to easily won over by students.He could stand to get a bit of a backbone.Overal hes alright.

Waste of time and energy. Doesn't give a darn about his class, and it shows. Doesn't prepare worthwhile lectures and basically spends the entire time arguing over what he 'thinks' we should know.. just brutal. STAY AWAY
