Comment:

Worst professor Ive ever had. Is all over the place during lectures and is never clear on things. Teaches you how to do the easy things then makes it 10x harder on tests. Is never clear on what she is putting on tests. Didnt even know how to work the online book/homework so it was a waste of $100 because she gave up on. AVOID TAKING HER CLASS!!!!

Comment:

Professor Vogel was great and she really understood that students are busy and have other classes. I had her for Children of the Holocaust which was an online class and if I was ever swamped with work, she was willing to give a reasonable extention. One thing I suggest is that you don't buy the books because you can pretty much google the answers.

I had Dr. Vogel for Holocaust in children lit and she was a wonderful teacher. She encourage class participation, which allow us to talk about the reading that she assigned. There is a lot of reading assignment, but the readings were easy and fun to read.

Dr. Vogel was the best math/GEN studies professor I had in a long time. Super caring and will to work with you to make sure you understand the material. For GEN2308, it was once every other week or once a week depending upon amount of material covered in the prior lecture. I got an A in the class with ease. I would gladly take her again.

Dr. Vogel was by far the best professor I have ever had. She truly cares about her students and always makes herself available for extra help. If you ever get the chance to take one of her classes do it. She explains things in depth to the extent that anyone could understand. I would take one of her classes again in a heartbeat. Dr. Vogel is absolutely excellent. She explains material in ways that all students can understand and never gets upset with students when they have questions. She only expects you to know some basic principles before taking her precalc class. Math has never been my strong suit, but Dr. Vogel teaches in a way even I can understand. Would take again.

Professor Vogel was a great professor and cared deeply about what she was teaching. She had no problem with late work as long as it was fit to par. She would often cancel class. Attendance was not mandatory. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants an easy A.

I really enjoyed this professor. She explained the information really well, especially since it's Pre-Calculus. She really cares about having her students learn and succeed. If I needed to take more math classes I would definitely take her again.

Saying that Judith cares about her students is an understatement. She also shows how the topics in Discrete math work with computer science concepts. Weekly quizzes, 3 exams and homework. Do your homework and the quizzesexams should be a piece of cake. If you don't understand something, see her. She'll make it her business to help you succeed.

Very sweet lady but when it came to taking the test, she slammed us. The exam had to have been 10 pages long. Short answer and essay form. You better know about the Holocaust before taking this class. I had an A on the online portion and I got a D+ on my exam. Must read all 5 memoirs!!! I did the 10 pg ex credit paper and ended up with a B+.

would not recommended her she talks writes on the board the whole time in class doesnt really go over the tests but she does give back quizes with the answers. i thought she was really hard for pre-calc and didnt like her teaching technique. wouldnt suggest taking her.

i already had precalc in h.s. so i knew all the material so it was easy for me. but other ppl seemed to have trouble with it. maybe it was just that most of the class were idiots, but she spent a long time teaching every individual section. for me it was boring, but for others it was good because she didn't stop until they understood.very nice lady

SHE IS HARD AS HELL. HER TEST ARE TREMENDOUS HARD TO PASS - UNLESS YOU ARE VERY GOOD IN MATH. SHE DOES NOT EVEN SHOWS THE ANSWER/SOLUTION WHEN SHE GIVES BACK THE TEST/QUIZZES. EVEN HER EXPLAINING MATERIAL IN THE CLASS IS NOT CLEAR - I WILL SAY. YOU ALSO HAVE TO READ THE BOOK ALONG WITH HER NOTES AND UNFORTUNATELY CAN'T JUST DEPEND ON HER NOTES.
