Karim all the friggen way!!! He's so funny, he's like a praying mantice jumping for anything and everything physics. His positive, happy, optimistic attitude will have you loving the class. He truly is an inspiration. Take his class and you won't be disappointed! Well, that's that.

Karim is a very nice guy & does his best to make class more fun with his lively spirit. However, his point system is really low so losing 1 point will hurt your grade. For the weekly quizzes, make sure you read the book and take notes. That helped me more than the lecture powerpoints

I would not recommend this class to anyone. He comes across nice at first but at the year goes on he gets more and more frustrating. You have do do final projects that seem to be easy but when you turn them in for him to check he scribbles all over your paper and makes you change everything you take it back to him and he wants even more fixed

I started out thinking he would be a great teacher, but came to find he is the worst teacher I have ever had. There are no big tests just 5 point quizzes every Friday. The material for the quizzes is never in the hand outs and his answers contradict the book answers. I don't have enough room to say anymore. Terrible teacher. Good luck.

Great guy and friend, however, teaching could use work. When asked questions, he will take whatever is said initially and often ignore the rest of the question. Will show excitement that will bring up spirits and attention; often jokes around and uses humor as well. Course points total to 50. With 5 point tests, a 4/5 will hurt grade massivly

Great, if you show up to class. You can learn a lot and get a good grade. He is there for anyone who wants help or clarification. The class is well structured and all assignments are spread out. No big reports or tests. Stay engaged at a steady pace. Weekly open note quiz are fair, but make or break. He truly wants everyone to succeed.

Karim has the best intentions as a teacher but gets frustrated too quickly and tries to move too fast through the lecture because he always thinks he is running out of time. Definitely wants to see all of his students succeed though! Great guy.. not a great teacher though :/

Karim is such a sweet guy, and one of my favorite professors ever! I took him for a summer class and he made the five weeks go by fast. He really wants his students to succeed and does whatever he can to help you. Class is never boring, because he makes it fun and entertaining. I actually liked coming to class every day!

karim is adorable and very animated. i did well in his class, but if you don't have any prior experience studying physics, it will most likely be pretty hard for you. also, if you're bad at deciphering accents, don't take him because his accent, however charming, is pretty thick. if you do well in his class, he will love you forever.

Karim is a good professor and really nice. Test every week but he goes over the material twice and open notes on the test only five questions. Also a lab every week which is easy just show up to class. I would take another class with him if I could.

Comment:

If you don't already know physics, then I would advise NOT to take him! Gives test a week after you learned it and doesnt test what he teaches. Tries to trick you on the tests. I find it complicated, when you already are confused and he tries to double confuse you with a trick.
