Katherine's lectures and topics are extremely interesting. She encourages students to participate. Her class gets boring at times but you get to learn a lot. She grades relatively harder than others but she is very helpful and understanding. She will give you notes on every draft but at times it may be difficult to understand her feedback.

She is a good professor. However, her accessibility is quite low. Sending Emails with no replies are very often. WR100 (will be WR120) requires lots of reading, and assignments are usually very hard.

She's a very approachable and open professor who enjoys teaching her course. Honestly, I feel as if she is one of the few professors who appears to really be interested in both teaching and helping her students. Grading was fair but she definitely makes you work for your grade. Classes are fascinating and open-ended(just make sure you participate).

She was a good teacher and she knows her material; however, I scheduled many appointments with her and she never attended them. I also wrote a tremendous amount of emails to her in which I received no response. I thought this was unprofessional. Be ready to read a lot and make sure your papers are spot on!

She is just amazing! I had her class at 9 a.m. in the morning and she was just so full of energy it was contagious! Great teacher! Tons of reading though.. but she is worth it. Will help you with any issues you might have. I highly reccommend her

She honestly cares about her students. Has a wonderful and bubbly personality that really makes class go by quickly. Not a harsh grader at all. Some might find her eccentric, but she's just very funny. Teaches with absolute clarity and doesn't make you feel bad about asking questions, no matter how dumb you think you sound.

Dr. Stebbins McCaffrey also teaches at Harvard Extension school. She is a fantastic teacher, making a class that required a lot of reading and writing fun! You can tell how much she cares about her students and in helping them do the best they can. She has a unique gift at finding the best quality in a student and making it shine.

The best History instructor i've ever had. She explains historical concepts in ways i've never thought of them before. Amazing professor and I'd strongly recommend taking courses with her.

Stebbins-McCaffrey was the best writing professor I have had to-date. She explains material well, makes the time pass quickly, and wants her students to do well. She grades some assignments difficultly, but when you get an A, you know you deserve it.
