A true member of the "old school". Talks occasionally about his own days at University, having to read 6 books a week on average. He is one of the most intelligent historians I know, but you have to work hard to pay attention to his lectures, as they tend to be rather monotonous.

Coolest accent ever. Has the largest book collection I've EVER seen, and that's not including the entire wall-full in his house. I seriously think he's close to a photographic memory, so as an historian he obviously knows his sh**. Taught himself philosophy by reading Dooyeweerd's New Critique.
