Learning isn't easy, writing isn't easy, and college isn't about easy grades; however, while Prof. Robinson doesn't hand out As, he's very knowledgeable and willing to help using a variety of teaching methods. He's also not afraid to speak his mind, so beware. If you put in effort you can get a high grade. He also has a good sense of humor- really!

Maybe a bit harder than some teachers, but totally worth it. Willing to the go the extra yard to help you learn, but you've probably got to see him out of class. Makes you think! In the end, I thought it was fun.

What he asks students isn't understood at all. He asks the same question over and over until he gets bored of your "idiotic" responses and moves to torture the next student. Everyone gets discouraged very quickly because they feel like they can't answer any question correctly. Confusion on directions becomes common.

Kirk is an awesome teacher. i would highly recommend him to all 152 students. it a hard class that involves tons on thinking and talking but you learn so much. he is always there to answer any questions that you have. he really prepares you for 160 and 161

GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! Of course like any other class at UIC, his is not just a cakewalk, but if you go to office hours and SHOW him you are really tryin.. EASY A! MY 10 page research paper was 6 pages, yea.. I got an A on it! SOOO HELPFUL! He does think he's funnier than he is. But I would take him again in a heartbeat!

This teacher gives out alot of B's but if you want an A you have to work really hard. He makes you think and never gives you the answer. He's a pretty cool dude and he's always availble to talk to, He's interesting the way he teaches because he likes to do discussions to get everyone involved.

This prof is great, he uses Socratic methods and alway has funny things to say and do. He can be a bit difficult to understand at times. Thankfully, the writing center was there and very helpful. He is way hot, who isn't attracted to an eye patch?

If you want to learn and are not looking for a blow off class this is great. Its not hard to get a B or even an A if you put some effort in it. He gives you a lot of clues but doent tell you exactly what to do so you have to do it on your own, so it gives you experiance for more than this class but on your own views for everything. I love the class
