Prof Luca is always on her game and has a wonderful teaching style. The text is helpful for nuances but not mandatory. She teaches you what you should learn about statistics not just what you need to know. Always willing to extend herself to help. She gave me what I needed to know in stats vs my 1st instructor who was very poor.

I had professor Luca for both Mat151 and Mat152, in short she is a very reasonable teacher. If you go to class everyday, do the practice questions, and refresh before the test you can get an A easily. Her tests are usually altered forms of the HW. If you go to her with almost any issue she will usually try to help you out as much as possible.

There will always be one question on her quizzes that will trip you. Overall Luca is an excellent professor who will make sure you understand the concepts by heart. You will not get through this class unless you understand the fundamentals. You will if you go to class. The final is not impossible, but you def need to go to class.

She is very organized and teaches in a way so that is is easy to understand. Although I did take Statistics before, i do not think it will be hard for someone new to Stats as long as you go to class and take notes you will be fine.

Great professor as she outlines the fundamentals one needs to know at the beginning of every unit and provides tons of practice problems. You definitely need to attend class as they help you prepare for her quizzes and you definitely need to do the practice problems she recommends from the textbook if you want to achieve an easy A.

Prof. Luca is by far my favorite math teacher in this school. She explains everything clearly and gives time for students to answer problems in class. She has a very orderly plan and she will always warn you when there is a quiz or not.

Best teacher in the world. one of very few who clearly know what they are talking about. has a slight accent but her english is perfect. easy to understand and loves what she teaches. the text book is not required and as long as you show up to class, you'll be fine. she doesnt take attendance. great personality!

Great teacher! Explains things in a way students can really understand! Her quizzes are pretty easy if you over go the class notes. Just go to class and pay attention and you will be fine. Her midterm was a little different from her quizzes, but other than that its a pretty easy class! Would definately recommend her for stats!

luca is a good teacher. she will help you if you go to her office hours. attendance to the class is not mandatory but you have to go to know what is going on for the weekly quizzes. also her review packets for midterms and finals are helpful but not like the exams at all

She is a great teacher. Had her for stats and calc II. You don't need the book. Just make sure you go to the class because she gives you everything you need in her notes. Class is a breeze if you show up.
