Comment:
I was a student of Mannan's as a freshman at Columbia College. Mannan's approach at the "art" of lecture styled teaching was fresh, and -in my opinion- highly effective. Although the class was reading intensive, it was also very interactive. I'd have to say that Mannan's approach at explaining the beginnings of Islam was original and succesful.

This class was horrible! There was too much boring reading and Ahmed doesn't create a comfortable learning environment. His lectures are boring and if the class is writing intensive be prepared to learn nothing. This professor was a waste of money and time!

A very good and easy class. Since he is from the area of discussion, he is very knowledgable. Very laid back and a great class to take. Easiest class I have taken in a while.
