Comment:

Manougian is one of the best professors I've had in college. He really wants you to succeed in his class. There are pop quizzes, but it's only 10% of your grade. He has 4 tests plus the final, but only grades four of the tests. So, you can replace your final with any of your lowest test grades. I would highly recommend taking him for diff eq!!

Comment:

One of the best math teachers I have ever had. He really cares about his students and their learning. He tells great stories and has a very interesting background. Overall he is spectacular, inspirational, and such a nice professor.

Comment:

He's so funny! He actually cares about you passing the class, our class didn't do well on the first test so he let us drop it if we wanted to and explains calculus so clearly. He does give pop quizzes but it's more of a way for you to get free points since he gives you a 100 for writing your name on the paper. I wish I could take him for all calc.

Comment:

Professor Manouguian is a great math teacher. His class consists of 4 tests (No final) and 10 quizzes, where you get full credit just by signing your name. His tests are the average difficulty. If you do the Homework (which is not mandatory) that he assigns you'll definitely get an A in his class.

His tests are hard. Very hard. And the only grades in the class are 4 tests and a few quizzes. But the fourth test grade will replace your lowest test grade. Go to class and do ALL the homework he assigns, and the practice tests he gives, and you should be ok. But make sure you know everything by heart before going into the test.

A great math professor for Engineering Calc 1. Would definitely take again. He takes his time teaching and really seems to care about his students passing. Tests are easy and straightforward as long as you study and practice. Homework is optional but I would do them if I were you because they help for the test.

Comment:

This class was extremely enjoyable. Prof. M made me feel as if he really was rooting for me to do well. His lectures are concise and as long as you take notes and do the assigned practice problems from the book, this class should be a breeze. Make sure you come to class though, pop quizzes are worth 10 points each and can help to boost your grade.

Dr. Manougian is absolutely amazing. One of the best math professors I have had. He makes it so easy to pass his class. If you can't pass his class then you are either not going to class at all or should consider another major. This has to be the easiest DE class in the school. Great Professor.

Professor Manoug is amazing! Hands down the most caring professor I've ever taken. He really wants his students to get a good grade and understand. He makes it extremely easy to get a high A in his course. I would take all my classes with him if I could. I literally cannot rave enough about him. You actually learn in his class. His humor is a plus!

HE IS AWESOME. Best math class I have taken. He cares so much for his students and gives them multiple tries to not just pass the class, but to excel. He reviews before the test and gives you everything you need to do well. He explains slowly and repeats over so everyone can understand. Always willing to help! There is also extra credit opportunity

Dr. M is a great teacher and he is willing to help pass his class. Calculus is a tough subject, so you can just skim by. Expect to study! He gives practice tests and problems to practice from the book. No homework. Pop quizzes every other class, so I recommend you attend.

This professor is great. Teaches the subject very well. he even has a good sense or humor. He makes it impossible to fail his class, if you pass that is totally on you. Like i said awesome professor and makes it impossible to fail.

Manougian is the man. You will learn so much more than just Calculus in this course. He is by far the best Calc 1 teacher, but he isnt really what I would consider easy for most. Study his lecture notes and you will do fine. DO NOT rely on the book, it over complicates everything.

Dr. M is the best teacher I had this semester!! Point , blank, period. He goes over the material slow enough for everyone to grasp. I alone put very little effort in this class and got a B. His notes and practice tests are very helpful. I rarely used the textbook, because his test were in class note and practice tests based.

This guy is an excellent teacher. I took him for Calculus 1 and he went nice and slow every class. His class I'm not going to say is easy, but probably the easiest Calc teacher at USF. Also note that although he gives the impression his tests will be easy DEFINITELY study because they can get pretty hard. I recommend him strongly overall for Calc 1

Comment:

Best Professor I have had in a long time at USF. If you follow his notes and practice the study guide alone you will get an A in his class but you must study and be very good at basic Calculus. He wants everyone to get an A and preaches about nonviolence due to his life story which just became a documentary overseas. I have alot of respect for him.
