Comment:

Dr. Petrucci is an amazing professor; he is very funny and has a lot of good stories. After the first couple of classes he let us out after around 15 minutes, even 5 minutes on a good day. You're only graded on your summaries and paper (no exams) of which you can expect to get an A if you follow directions. Very lenient on due dates. Take him!!!

Take him!!! I had him TR 12:30-1:45, and he always let out class by 1. He gave you everything you needed and expected you to write papers well. Won't give anyone below a C. Very smart man, and I loved talking to him. Great man, great professor. Love this guy

He expects a lot from your papers, but if you go to the writing center and ask him questions you can get an A. He struggles with being clear in his lectures. Make sure you come to class though he takes attendance.

I had him for British Lit course. He is one of the few professors who is flexible and understanding! We only had one essay and the second was optional. I was nervous about taking a lit class but he makes the class enjoyable. Definitely go to him for help!

I really enjoyed this class. I had a few when I took his course and he was kind and accommodating. He cancels class relatively often and his papers aren't too bad since you get to choose your topics. His stories are funny and make class fun. Go to him for help if you need it. Harvard educated and incredibly smart and helpful.

I hate him for english comp 2 and he is probably one of my favorite teachers at Auburn. He lets you pick your own topics for all of the papers throughout the semester but he wants them to have something to do with your major. Write about something you love and you'll get an A easily. Don't pick a topic just because it should be easy to write about.

I would definitely recommend Dr. P. He is the sweetest guy and the class is relatively easy. All your really do is write, so if you're a good writer it's a breeze. There are certain things he tells you to put in your papers and he looks for those. As long as you put in the effort he'll reward good writing with a good grade. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!!

Why this guy isn't rated 5.0 is beyond me! The first week or so you may stay the whole time but eventually you'll show up turn in your paper and leave or show up recieve the next assignment and leave. Provide an outline with your paper and use current sources and you should get an A. Also he's an awesome guy to talk to outside of class. RECOMMENDED

This guy is crazy(in a good way). He is very likable, and he goes off on many tangents during class, so the classes are very much bearable despite it being English Comp. He is very helpful and is one of the few professors that you must have!

TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!!! Dr. P makes writing papers fun and easy. He grades fairly and is willing to cut some slack if he knows you tried. He only requires two books and he cancels class a lot. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Dr. P. is an amazing teacher!!! He is hilarious, you learn so much, and all he really wants is for his students to succeed! He even made it worth while having to walk across campus for class at 6:00pm!!! TAKE HIM! :)

Day one you will walk in and he will scare you to death. He's a Harvard graduate, which is super intimidating but you will soon find out he really is one of the easiest! you write alot of short, easy papers that can easily be used in every day life. Wrote several papers with several gramatical errors and he still gave me an A, and he's hilarious!

Besides his crazy rambling every single day, the class wasn't too bad. He said he doesn't believe you learn to write in the classroom, so there wouldn't be much class, but we'd stay in there the whole time just because he was talking about something irrelevant. His paper topics were vague, but he loved all of my papers. It wasn't a bad class.

I recomend him! He is a really cool guy. He cancels class sometimes and if you go to all the classes and write a few decent papers it should be an easy A or B depending on how quality your work is. He is a great teacher and trys to get you to write relating to your major. He is very very smart and has some published poems and other works.
