Comment:

Professor Mikus made this class fun to learn and makes a 4.0 achievable. There are 3 exams that cover her powerpoints and parts of the textbook. She even gives you extra credit throughout the semester that adds onto the exams. She provides exam reviews as well on what to expect and not to expect on an upcoming exam. She also has movie days as well!

Comment:

She is a really great professor for this class. I was CPR and First Aid certified a few years ago and if something were to happen, I would've never known what to do. After this course, I genuinely feel like I could save someones life. It is easy, but she is VERY PARTICULAR with practicals, and the course exam is WAY HARDER than it should be.

Comment:

This class is once a week for four hours, but I don't think we were in there for more than 2.5 hours. 2 exams, no final, groups projects (which were fun) and three small assignments for credit. I enjoy nutrition, weight control, and exercise and she made it fun to learn. It directly transitions from HS 201 and you have to go to class. I loved it :)

Professor Mikus is great. For an almost 4 hour class we were only ever in there for about 2.5 hours max. She's very clear on what she wants and there's only two very easy exams and a group project. I would definitely recommend her!

Professor Mikus was awesome. She was a very good lecturer and very laid back. I got an easy 4.0 just for showing up to class and taking notes. There are 2 (EASY) exams, one group project, and no final. She offers a bunch of extra credit at the end. We always got out of class really early, and even ended the semester early. Go to class & take notes

Don't think she's clear on how to make powerpoints... most of the info. that appears on the tests is said only in passing and since there isn't a textbook there really isn't anything to refer back to : Though (if you figure out what needs asking) she IS there to help! Luckily there are plenty of other chances for points-- do not let them slip by!

Love her so much. She's such a great professor, she knows her material and covers everything while making sure everyone gets it. Only a few exams, no final. Participation points given if in class for certain worksheets, I suggest going to class for these and the material. Notes are online. Let my class out over an hour early almost everyday. GREAT!

Professor Cukr is great! There's no textbook, lecture is from a powerpoint. Two exams, group project (not hard), no final. Take notes & practice the math she provides and you'll do great! Attend class because she does do participation points that will make/break your grade.

Ms.Cukr would give us questions on the test that were never discussed in class.When this was brought to her attention, she still didn't give us credit for HER mistakes.Plus, she would put trick questions on the test. She thought we should just know things as if we were already health profs.She never learned our names,only the cute guys' names.

Nice and quite knowledgeable. The course work was the right amount for a college level class. The exams were not too bad but there were some questions that she never went over in class. Since there is no book you rely solely on your notes. The exams were a lot of true and false questions and essay questions.

She'd very helpful. Has the best interest at heart for he students. She gives out extra credit which boosts your grade. I had a 4 week class with her, so even though it was a lot of material at once it was doable. I would recommend her to any student.

Cukr is an ok professor. I am a senior now and she's definitely far from one of the best I've had at OU.A bit boring and sarcastic. The material for the class is clear it's what she will put the most emphasis on for the test that is not so clear. I would advise that you study EVERYTHING!

Very interesting class that was presented very clearly. Eat to Live quizzes can be a little difficult (need to pay attention to statistics in the book), but she provides plenty of opportunity to make up points through EC. Exams were pretty easy if you study and attend all classes. I would recommend this professor!

Great teacher! Exams are all off of the powerpoints and notes, pay good attention and take notes! She grades well and there is a lot of extra points offered. Quizzes are on the chapters of the "Eat to Live" book. I learned a lot from this class, and you will too!

Cukr is great! The material is super interesting. She tests you on the textbook 5-6 times throughout the semester and has 2 exams and no final. She loves what she's talking about and actually cares about her students. Great class and a great professor.
