Her accent is really hard to understand a lot of the time, and she will randomly come over, watch what you're doing, and then take over and do it herself (which i didnt mind because less work for me)

I had her for Ceramics I and I really liked her. She is nice and is really helpful if you ask. You have to work really hard and she expects you to be creative and wants to see her students produce good pieces. Once you show her that you are willing to put in the time and care, she's really nice.

Therese O'Halloran is awful. I tried so hard to like her and to find good things in her, but I'm a ceramics concentration and I've taken 3 classes with her, and I'm just done. Her attitude is terrible, and she's constantly critical of the smallest things. I gave up my entire life to her classes, and she still told me I didn't do enough work.

I know there are people who hate her, but actually she had never been mean to me and sometimes she is really helpful. I think it's just her personality, not that she wants to treat anybody badly. When you don't know how to do the work, you can just ask her and she'll do it for you or make it clearer so you can figure it out yourself.

She is very unclear on what is expected for the individual projects. She really likes you if she likes you and really hates you if she hates you. DON'T let her think you are really good at ceramics if you're not absolutely amazing - she'll expect you to teach the class and stuff - and when you aren't as good as you say you are she hates you.

this woman is the devil. i loved doing ceramics in high school but because of this woman i never want to do them ever again. she teaches the class like everyone in it is a art major and can preform the most advanced techniques.

I took ceramics during may term and I expected it to be a fun, easy class. It was no blow off class however. Therese requires tons of lab time and expects you to take things really seriously. She's pretty intimidating in the begining but things get better

Stay Away! This woman is horrible. She doesnt speak loud enough, doesn't care if you understand what is going on, and worst of all, could care less about what you are doing in her class. I hated this class and I hate that b#$%*. Avoid at all costs!

therese is hard to read at first. she is really nice and wants people to appreciate ceramics as an art.. not just a crafts class. when she is straitforward it comes off as rude. she thinks of the studio in terms of team. but it is a great class!
