I respect Dr. Lloyd as a person. He is very intelligent but a little socially awkward. He clearly just cannot empathize with his students. He rushes through the material and assigns questions that are so much more difficult than anything we've seen before. Lecture, homework and tests are completely unrelated to one another.

GENIUS. his teaching is all over the place, but he knows the material, sometimes a little too much. In class, he is hard to follow at times but when asking for help one on one with him, he takes all the time in the world to help you. DO the homework, every quiz is over the homework he gives, if you don't, then better pass his test, they are hard.

this was the one class in college I have absolutely HATED...not because of the material either! Mr Lloyd (he doesnt have a ph.d) is horrible at teaching! you couldn't understand anything he was ever talking about. he wasnt helpful unless it was convenient for him. everyone i knew in his class my freshman year failed. horrible!

I am a senior at HSU and have made only 1 B. It was in Dr. Loyd's 1 hour, 6 week graphing calculator class. Now, granted, I came from a high school that did not use graphing calculators so I was a little behind, but I went on to make an A in calculus, trig, and statistics. So, I think it is safe to say there is a minor professor problem.

He gave me my only B so far, and I have completed 2 years. He is EXTREMELY smart, but I think he believes students can become intelligent by association or something. His B was followed by A's in every other more difficult math class that I took. I AM NOT blaming that B on him, but his methods of teaching would not hurt to be altered. Good Guy.
