Dr. Parham is a one of a kind guy. His years of experience alone command respect, but his care and passion for inspiring high quality teachers prove this respect. If you need a mentor in ag education, Dr. Parham is the man for the job. He's screwed my head back on right more times than I care to admit. Awesome guy, hilarious professor.

His lectures are all stories. Listening to them once is good enough, but in his class you'll hear them over and over. Only taking him because it's required for my major. Literally a waste of an hour once a week. He also interrupts students when he asks for observation feedback.

He enjoys listening to himself speak more than everyone I have met. Most of his stories are pointless, where he is always the hero who was the first to do something, and only give you an idea of how to teach if you were teaching in the 60s. Can be very disrespectful to students if you do not fit into his mold. Too bad you have to take his class.

If you enjoy listing to your grandfather tell stories about his life you will love this class. Parham spends more than half the time in this class talking about how he grew up, how his life was and how things were when he was a teacher 20 years ago. You have to have this class, so just get used to it. sorry
